Our History & Mission

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Fund (JATF) was created by the United Service Workers Union (USWU)—an affiliate of the International Union of Journeymen and Allied Trades (IUJAT)—to fill a need for trained mechanical trades professionals and to provide mechanical trades workers with vital training... always striving for an educated, competitive, and safe workforce.

Our Instructors are certified by the National Center for Construction, Education and Research (NCCER) and actively working in their related disciplines.

They not only bring the vast knowledge of their experience, but also their education. Having an Instructor currently working in the field and keeping up with technological changes makes for an extremely powerful learning environment.
